Today version 1.1.0 of the SLATE More Shapes extension is released. It extends the SVG Logo and Text Effects WordPress plugin to let you add text in a star shape.

Today’s release adds the capability to write text inside a star shape. Use this for eye-catching words and phrases such as “NEW”, “BUY NOW”, “FREE”, etc. You get to pick the inner and outer radius, number of tips, and other parameters. An example is given in the SLATE More Shapes extension page. Go visit the live example to see the cool SVG glow animation effect!

As promised, more shapes are going to be released soon. The star shape is added to the already existing stamp and arc shapes.
