Release notes for version 6.1.0 of Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets.
Release notes for version 6.1.0 of Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets.
About this release
Version 6.1.0
of Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets adds some user-requested features and fixes minor issues of the last major release.
What’s new?
Withdrawal approvals
Most importantly, you can now enable withdrawal approvals by an admin.
To enable this, go to Settings → Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets → Cron tasks → Admin must approve withdrawals. Check the box and hit Save changes.
When this is enabled, all pending withdrawals must be approved. To approve pending withdrawals:
- Go to the “Transactions” screen
- Optionally filter by “Pending” and “Withdrawals”.
- Check the box in front of some pending withdrawals. Other withdrawals will not be affected.
- From the Bulk actions dropdown, select Approve and hit Apply. The approved pending withdrawals will be executed on a subsequent cron run.
VS amount decimals
Amounts in the frontend are also shown below as equivalent amounts in “VS Currencies”. You can now choose how many decimals to show for these amounts.
Go to: Settings → Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets → Frontend UI settings → Frontend VS amount decimals. Set the number of decimals and hit Save changes.
Pending withdrawal checks
Pending withdrawals become eligible for execution when they pass some checks. Now the results of these checks are shown as a metabox when you edit a pending withdrawal. These checks are documented here.
One of the checks looks to see if the user has exceeded the daily withdrawal limits, as specified in the Currency settings. These daily counters are now shown in the user’s profile screen.
Search transactions by TXID
If you have a hex string corresponding to a blockchain TXID, you can now use it to search for a transaction. Just go to the Transactions admin screen, and paste the TXID in the search box.
