Today a patch release 1.1.3 of the SVG Logo and Text Effects (SLATE WordPress plugin) is made available.

It addresses the upcoming fix of a customizer SVG bug in WordPress. This bug will be fixed in 4.7. The current workaround in SLATE will only apply to you if you have an installation earlier than 4.7. Users who upgrade to 4.7 (once it becomes available) will be able to see SVG text in their Customizer screens.

The SLATE plugin now also reminds you via popups what extensions are available. All popups are dismissible and will not bother you again if you choose to close them.

Remember that there is a SLATE widget in the dashboard section. It is there to help you get started with writing SVG text into your site.

The widget instructions have now been improved.
